h. Numbers 24:14 speaks of the conquest of Moab in the latter days by the star out of Jacob (v. 17). i. Isaiah 2:2 and Micah 4:1 foretell that in the latter days the mountain of Jehovah will be established. This description of the established existence can mean the final state. j. Genesis 49:10 describes the state introduced by Shiloh. Therefore the meaning here may also be extended. It is not improbable that the Old Testament writers used this as a general technical term.
